Dear Diary,
It's only occurring to me today how incredibly weird it is that I've made no new friends so far in high school. And the only reason it occurred to me is that I think I might be making a new friend.
Her name is Cassia Itami, she's Japanese-American, she wears beanies, and she sits next to me in math. She has little patience for algebra but is whip-smart at it. The only seafood she'll eat is fish and chips or sushi, and she's a raving Bernie Sanders fanatic. Then again, so am I. So we get along quite well.
In other news, Lark's parents have finally agreed to help her buy a car! She's over the moon excited, and with Lark excitement is infectious. Aidan, Emmalee, and I are going with her to browse used car dealers in a couple days. Maybe I'll get some ideas for my own future car! (I used to think I'd like it to be red, but then I'd get more tickets.)

good lorde high school. i hope i make friends bc i have none since i went to the nerd school and now i'm going to the zone high school. but it's good you're making a friend :))
ReplyDeleteahhh i want a car so bad. i'm gonna get a job (starts saturday, minimum wage but) to get one, since i get my learners permit in april. i used to want red too, but now i'm thinking white or blue even.
