Dear Diary,
I watched the news a lot today - I don't like to because it's boring, but Dad says I need to learn how to analyze elections for 2020 when I'll be able to vote. It seemed like half the media was complaining about Donald Trump, and half the media was complaining about the half of the media complaining about Donald Trump.
Mom and I went raincoat shopping today. She says with the rainy season coming up I need something to keep me dry. I shit you not, I walked into the store and fell in love with the very first one I saw. It's this sleek double-breasted black trenchcoat - Mom says it makes me look like an army general, but I think it's chic. I asked Lark's opinion, and she said I look like a chic army general.

But no joke, Lark and I were texting today and she said "Are you still doing that diary blog?" and I realized "OH SHIT I HAVE THAT DIARY BLOG".
*aggressively bangs head against wall*
Hopefully, a new design and new style will boost my posting on this thing. I love this little corner of the Internet, I do, but I have another blog (lmao no I'm not linking to it) that I throw most of my time into. Plus, diary posts aren't the kind of thing you can prepare ahead of time. But we'll see.
