Dear Diary,
The school musical this year is The Music Man, and in graphic design class today our whole class was taken out for thirty minutes to help set up the stage and stuff. They're desperate for backstage workers; apparently interest this year is very low and they're having trouble getting costumes, promotion, sets, etc. done. We had to help carry heavy furniture pieces up to the stage from storage and set up the backgrounds. Tess Clickman, the darling of the drama department and senior who's playing Marian, was there to help and urge us to join backstage. One kid did and another said he was considering it, but help is still short. Emmalee and Aidan are thinking of joining - I might, idk. It depends on what's available - doing makeup or costumes would be fun, but painting sets doesn't sound very interesting.
